The Wisconsin Burglar &
Fire Alarm Association promotes the interest of the electronic protection and alarm system
industry. The WB&FAA informs the public of services performed by the
security alarm industry.
Members of the WB&FAA
sell, install, monitor and maintain burglar and fire alarm systems,
supervisory systems, access control, closed circuit TV systems (CCTV) as
well as integrated systems and a host of other low voltage system
applications.
It facilitates communication among those
engaged in the sale and installation of alarm detection and supervisory systems by
providing a forum for the discussion of
ideas and problems.
The Wisconsin Burglar & Fire Alarm Association encourages the enactment of legislation beneficial to the electronic alarm system industry and in the public interest. Of utmost importance to the Association is the promotion of professionalism.
Information about our members' services is provided to the public so that a wise choice is made when buying electronic security and life safety systems.

Dealing with False Alarms
It is important that all security system owners use their systems responsibly to prevent false alarms. Alarm companies are now utilizing Enhanced Call verification as a preventive measure. To learn moreabout ECV ask your alarm contractor or read this document.
